people born and living inside in an asteroid would prefer it that since they don't know any better. They would actually enjoy the safety of the asteroid then being in a world with alot of dangers. I do suspect aliens have perfected FTL travel and can travel between stars within weeks. Thats why we see alien ships all the time here on earth. Someday humans will perfect FTL travel and we will travel to other worlds and conquer the cosmos whether by peaceful means or more persuasive methods.

The Cosmological Constant is valid until it isn't in the same way the geological principle of Uniformitarianism is valid until it isn't. In Geology, Uniformitarianism explains most of what we see, yet there are times when Catastrophism is valid, such as the Big Rock that wiped out the dinosaurs, or a caldera that reshapes an entire continent. The overarching principles in both are valid until they aren't. Knowing when they aren't then becomes a big part of the game.

My first inclination is to suggest that what we are considering "very large scales" are in fact not large at al and that even though galaxies and galaxy clusters are very, very, very large, relative to the scale of the universe they are still tiny. My second inclination is to suggest that there are forces at work that we haven't yet discovered that account for the discrepancies between expectation and observation and that when taken into account, these forces reestablish universal homogeneity. My third inclination is to ask if existing inside of a void, as the milky way does, is more conducive to the formation of life than living in a denser area and that this is a partial solution to the Fermi paradox.

So dark energy is going to affect our local group much more than other groups I'd assume pushing us away from other galaxy groups at crazy speed

In addition, this is also why gravity isn't uniform. And it explains the expansion of the universe too. our universe is being "squeezed".

You are rapidly burning up any sci-cred you have. For. The. Last. Time. There is no such thing as "Dark Matter". It's just a fantasy. A lie. Cooked up by pretend scientists who are too egotistical to admit they got everything wrong. Additionally, you go to list things as "proof" a theory is correct when they are the only things the "theory" is based on. So far every single prediction they've made on that model has _failed_. They can get close. But the weathermen get closer on their predictions a week out. "There's going to be rain next week!" "Where and when?" "There's going to be rain next week!"

I've always wondered if dark matter and/or dark energy might be something along the lines of epicycles--surprisingly accurate as a tool, but missing the point of how things actually work. That wouldn't fully explain how much the theories have predicted, but regardless. Maybe just something like Newton's gravity, where it is a use case nested within Einstein's gravity and not as general as thought. The cosmological principle at large also seems somewhat ad hoc to me, a very forced assumption when there are strong hints towards anisotropy. But, all at once, there are very real reasons scientists think these things. As far as MOND goes, it's a shame that we've not been able to find a model that doesn't break in other ways.
